Appearance ;; At first glance, it is possible for you to mistake Nightbreeze for his older brother. But his size and color will correct your easily made mistake. Nightbreeze is a smaller tom then Charredback, but he is still muscular. His back and belly fur is a blend of black, dark brown, and orange. His head is mostly black with splashes of orange randomly patched. His muzzle is a pure and very clean white. Placed evenly apart in his black mask of a face are two small, yellow-amber eyes. His little pink nose is also placed beneath them, surrounded by very long, white whiskers. His ears are pointed and fuzzy. They have some orange on them, but are outlined in black fur. Around his clean, white chest a light cream fades into orange that surrounds his lower cheeks, chin, and shoulders. His back legs are long and stout, matching the color of his back and belly fur. Nightbreeze's front legs are both different in color and design though. His front right leg is a pure, dark chocolate brown color with a pure white sock and paw. On the other hand, or should I say paw? His left leg is orange with chocolate brown stripes that twist diagonally down. Unlike his right leg, there isn't a white sock, just a pure white paw. His pads though, are a dirty, dark brown color.

Personality ;; Nightbreeze is a very complex cat to understand. His has many different sides to him, though most are never seen and always hidden. On the outside he is a very aggressive tom. He lashes out at anything and anyone at the most random times. He has a very loud and opinionated voice, that is often mistaken for anger. Smart comments escape Nightbreeze frequently, although most times they aren't truly smart. Nightbreeze rarely thinks before he speaks. He always comes up with plans that he wants to follow through with, even if they aren't the best ideas. He is a very hard worker and is an excellent fighter. His anger fuels his actions.

On the inside is a hurting tom. His father's abandonment left him damaged. Nightbreeze is a very insecure cat and takes most things personal. He doesn't believe in trusting anyone. He doesn't even think that anyone can be trusted. He doesn't want to put himself in the position of being abandoned or hurt again. The anger that shows is to fend off anyone who would try to become his friend. He is fearful of opening up to anyone. Nightbreeze can be antisocial and he doesn't have many friends, matter of fact he doesn't even have one. Sure he has his siblings, but he keeps to himself most of the time. He doesn't want anyone to ever leave him like his father did.

History ;; Softcloud and Dogtooth were parents of one litter during their time together. Neither were the best of parents. Softcloud, the semi-caring, yet cold mother rarely acted as if she truly cared for her kits. They were never an interest, she enjoyed everyone but them it seemed. Dogtooth, the stay away father rarely visited his family in the nursery. He stayed clear as much as he could.

Nightkit was the last born kit, with one brother and two sisters born before him. He grew up closer to his father then his mother. He was a little bit jealous of how close Charredkit and Dogtooth were, so he would end up joining in their play fights. He tried to impress both of them because he looked up to them.

Once Nightkit became Nightpaw he trained hard and often, focusing on his hunting skills more than fighting, because he already was a good fighter. With hunting he had the chance to practice killings. Call it ruthless, but it got the clan fed. His father seemed to enjoy helping train him and his siblings. Nightpaw enjoyed spending time bonding with not only Dogtooth, but his brother and sisters when they were around.

Then one day Nightpaw came in from a day of fighting practice. He found his mother walking out of the medicine cat's den, wincing from the pain she was in. Although Nightpaw wasn't the closest with her, he still felt some concern. He saw the patches of spiderwebs on her chest, that were already a little bit bloody. He rushed over and asked what happened. He can't, to this day, remember what how she answered. Nightpaw did rush of to talk to his father about it, wondering if he knew the source of her wounds. He found Dogtooth, but was completely ignored and even chased off. Deeply upset, Nightpaw tormented his brain trying to think of how he had displeased his father so.

A day later Dogtooth came to Nightpaw and told him it had nothing to do with him and his father even apologized for being so rude to his son. Dogtooth tried to patch things up with Nightpaw, before two days later Dogtooth vanished from Shadowclan without a trace. No one knows how or why he left his clan and family behind, but Nightpaw took it especially hard.

His own father wasn't there to seem him become a warrior and he blamed Dogtooth for it. Nightbreeze lost all connections with his mother after she went into her depression and started to hate his father for causing so much pain. Nightbreeze saw what it did to not only his mother, who he didn't like that much anyways, but also to his other siblings. They each had their own reactions to the abandonment. That's why Nightbreeze became so cold hearted and sees nothing wrong with killing his father in battle if he ever meets with him again. Then maybe Dogtooth will learn how much pain he truly cause his children, mate, and clan.
